Outfits Made for Mon-daze

When Monday comes around, a lot of us get the case of the Mon-daze. A daze-y day it is indeed. To add some pep to my Mondays, I start my week off with the best outfits that are hidden away in my closet; add some fun to my day πŸ™‚

Here, dear friends, is what I consider a “best” outfit for a Monday at work. The awesome thing about this outfit is that 2/3 of it is thrifted! My beautiful striped 3/4 bedazzled shirt is J. Crew bought at Goodwill for $5.99! My glittery pair of Toms were also from Goodwill! The only thing not thrifted is my capri pants which were newly bought from express. Stay tuned on a blog about shopping goodwill because amazing finds are there my friends, rest assured!

I thought the rhinestone detailing on this shirt was beautiful and just had to share a close up with you guys. I can’t imagine what this would cost at J. Crew itself, but it was a definite steal for me at Goodwill!

Seeing as I was going for some navy colors today, I decided to borrow moms Gwen Stefani eye shadow set from Urban Decay. Not only does the eye shadow match my outfit but boy does that blue make those green eyes pop! More make up tutorials to come dear friends, don’t fret just yet!

I finished my look off with an up do, I’ve got a crazy little bun going on in the back but this is my outfit to beat the Mon-daze. Fun, quirky, yet professional…and very spring appropriate πŸ˜‰

Speaking of spring, look what finally bloomed in the front yard!

Happy May!
